Undergound wells can have high concentrations of heavy minerals. Water softening systems can help.
Water softening systems transfer heavy minerals in ground water into resins in a water softener system and exchanges them for sodium (salt). By removing heavy minerals, the water returns to a neutral state, reducing hard mineral buildup and improving overall water quality.
BuiltRite Wells can help you make sure your home has the right water pressure for all of your needs.
Nothing can be more frustrating than having water pressure issues. Since water needs can vary from home to home, it's important to have the proper equipment installed. This helps ensure your particular water needs are met with the right pressure to get the job done right.
Groundwater is water that fills cracks and other openings in underground beds of rocks and sand. Groundwater is found in soils, rocky areas and sands that are able to retain water.
About a quarter of all U.S. rainfall (and it's a LOT) becomes groundwater. Groundwater provides much of the flow of many streams. Many lakes and streams are "windows" to the water table. The flow in a stream represents water that has flowed from the ground into the stream channel. It is estimated by the USGS that about 30 percent of U.S. streamflow is from groundwater, although it is higher in some locations and less in others.
Well Abandonment
Old wells need a proper send-off! Unused wells can threaten public health and safety as well as affecting the quality of the entire area's groundwater. Well abandonment is a critical final step in a well's service life. We can help. Ask us about our well abandonment services.
